Letters
Most people think that penpalling is an old fashioned/dead hobby but that's not true! I know so many people that wouldn't trade penpalling for anything in the world! :D I don't know a better feeling than the one I get when I receive a lovely letter from one of my pen pals (^_^) I prefer looong and decorated letters but shorter letters can put a smile on my face too :) Some people say that you can't become friends with someone who lives on the other side of the world but I know that you can...Actually a few of my pen pals know me way better than my "real" Czech friends...It's easier to talk about yourself, your thoughts and feelings in a letter, trust me :) Well if you have some free time and if you're looking for a great hobby then take a pecil and try to write a letter ^.^
Postcards
If you don't enjoy writing that much but you still want to receive mail from all around the world then try to find a few people that you could swap postcards with :) You don't have to write or read long letters but you can still experience the amazing feeling I get when I open my mail box ^^
Gifts
I am a very lucky person because I have the most amazing pen pals ever! ^^ We exchange letters, postcards AND little gifts! If you don't want to send huge boxes and pay a lot of money then you can send little gifts, you can send anything that fits into a normal envelope (stationery, jewellery, magnets, make up, stickers, pens, posters, CDs, cards, tea bags...). What is better than getting little gifts every week?! ^^
